SB: Boring? Are you kidding me <img src="http://snipersatwar.clanservers.com/modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" title="Smile" border="0" /> ? I have more than one thousand battles played and I don’t feel bored – though I know all the ins&amp;#x26;outs of the game. But anyway, we are going to add some new modes to make World of Tanks gameplay experience more diverse and captivating. We will introduce Survival mode with a team of players positioned in the centre of a map and surrounded by hordes of NPC tanks with a task to survive as many attacking waves as possible. Garage Wars is an option that is likely to appear in the game as well. This mode will let the player use several tanks from his garage within one battle with some kind of respawn. For instance, your favourite T-44 is knocked out, you get back to your garage, pick up a Tiger and jump into the same battle. The same goes with other players. Some historic scenarios and mission re-enacting real battles are also to come in the future. Within our team we like to say that when the basic gameplay (the one we have in the game at the moment) is completely tweaked and balanced we will “rip off” all possible modes that modern shooters offer <img src="http://snipersatwar.clanservers.com/modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" title="Smile" border="0" /> .<br />

MMOZone: Question 2 – Will we be able to make our own maps in the future, or mods?<br />
<br />
SB: Well, it’s a difficult question. There’s hardly a chance to see a map or mode editor in the release version, but in future… only time will tell. The problem is that every newly created map (mode) should be delivered to every player and that will lead to client update for hundreds of thousands of players what is not a really convenient thing to do taking into consideration that only few player made maps will become a real jewel in the crown. To keep up players’ interest after World of Tanks release we are going to add a new map every 2-3 weeks so there’ll be quite a variety of locations to wreak havoc on.<br />

MMOZone: Question 3 – Will clan’s also be levelling later on? And if so, what will be the advantages of this levelling?<br />
<br />
SB: What is the reason for levelling or some other sort of rankings for clans? Just take a look at the Global Map and see who the “boss” is. The clan with a larger territory under control is obviously the strongest one and the one to be afraid of. Every newly captured province will give your clan some benefits – regular territories will bring credits while capitals will increase your “gold” income. Moreover, control over certain lands will give access to some special vehicles, tank modules and ammo.<br />

MMOZone: Question 4 – Will we be able to custom design the look of our tanks? Like put kill markings or colourings on them.<br />
<br />
SB: There’ll be a number of custom decal options available in the game. The player will be able to place some personal or clan emblems on the turrets (or other parts) of his tanks, create custom camouflage or even put a picture of his girlfriend on the sides of his vehicles… We’re discussing the option of painting the tank pink at the moment, but are rather in two minds about it <img src="http://snipersatwar.clanservers.com/modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" title="Smile" border="0" /> .<br />

MMOZone: Question 5 – Will there be a tier in between the now 2nd and 3rd one. If you buy your tier 3 light tank, you immediately will be put up against medium and heavy tanks that can 1-shot you in a second. Now we know that light tanks shouldn’t go up against medium and heavy tanks one on one, but if you just got your tank, you can’t even drive away from them yet.<br />

SB: Good question. We know that after graduating to level 3 the life of a tankman becomes a bit tough <img src="http://snipersatwar.clanservers.com/modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" title="Smile" border="0" /> . And we do want to change the situation. We are going to implement a new – smoother – matchmaking system that will create battles according to a different algorithm if compared to the one we currently have in the game. For instance, there’ll be battles between tier 3-5 tanks, 6-8… The system still needs balancing and tweaking that’s why the details can not be revealed yet, but you’ll see how it works in the game soon.<br />

MMOZone: Question 6 – What countermeasures have you taken against lagging in World of Tanks? As lagging will make this game unplayable.<br />
<br />
SB: New servers. At the moment we are installing new servers in North America and we’ll also add some new servers for European players soon. It’s not an easy task that requires time and resources that’s why we ask you to be patient. We also work on solving the issue with “teleporting” tanks that is caused by some features of BigWorld 2.0 engine and want to assure you that it will be fixed<br />

MMOZone: Question 7 – Will the tanks, ammunition and tank components that the clan-built factories can produce be balanced with the rest of the game, or will they be game-breakingly good?<br />
<br />
SB: Of course, they will be balanced with the rest of the game, because they will be used not only in Clan Wars but in random battles as well so we are not going to give super advantage to the owners of these “special” tanks. All in all, it’s a kind of long-term perspective so there might be some changes implemented in future.<br />
<br />
MMOZone: Question 8 – Any idea on how the pricing will be for buying gold?<br />
<br />
SB: As you probably know the game will be free, but there’ll be a bunch of things – like premium accounts, premium tanks and ammo, some customization features etc. – available for sale. We are still working on pricing so I can not come up with any figures at the moment.<br />
<br />
MMOZone: Question 9 – Will clans be able to sell their factory build items to other clans/gamers via the ingame trade system?<br />
<br />
SB: Yeah, there will be a developed inter-clan trade system integrated into the game that will enable various transactions like the one you’ve mentioned above. Moreover, those players who for some reasons decide to stay apart from clan warfare but have a lot of friends playing the game will be able to exchange various items with their mates thus helping them out in the moments of need. All the mechanisms of the trade system are still in development so I cannot say more.<br />

MMOZone: Question 10 – Will we be able to also trade our crew members?<br />
<br />
SB: Absolutely, the same as with tanks. Hope they will not sue us for this sort of “slave trade” <img src="http://snipersatwar.clanservers.com/modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" title="Smile" border="0" /> .<br />

MMOZone: Question 11 – Will it be possible for clans to make alliances and will they be able to work together to defend/attack a certain territory?<br />
<br />
SB: Right. Clan Wars will imply a good deal of diplomacy and politics with all sorts of treaties, alliances, non-aggression pacts, espionage, double-agents etc. By introducing these options we want to ensure deeper and stronger communication of players within our community. I guess fans of some classic strategy games will really appreciate this part of World of Tanks.<br />

MMOZone: Question 12 – Will infantry be player controlled when it’s implemented in the future or will they be AI controlled?<br />
<br />
SB: Well, it’s a hard question to answer at this stage of development process. We have some ideas regarding infantry discussed and both variants were considered. Right now we are fully focused on polishing the basic gameplay and are going to get back to the infantry issue later when we free some time and resources.<br />

MMOZone: Question 13 – Will infantry have any chance of surviving in a world where there’s 30+ tanks driving around? Of course there was enough infantry in the WW2, but everyone would have to be equipped with RPG’s to even stand a chance against that much armoured power.<br />
<br />
SB: Infantrymen weren’t just a cannon fodder during the war as they had objectives of their own on the battlefield – making ambushes, building up defense lines, setting up minefields… Anyway, we’ll find some proper application of infantry in the game, but let’s talk about this closer to the release date.<br />
<br />
MMOZone: Question 14 – Will there be any PvE content in the game?<br />
<br />
SB: World of Tanks is PvP oriented. You know, our game is for real men who tend to show off their courage and bravery in fights against real opponents, not just scripted AI. However, we’ll probably introduce some NPCs in tutorial missions and in some game modes – I’ve already mentioned Survival.<br />
